Dan began his personal training career in 2011. He quickly mastered his craft completing coveted internships at IMG Academy and the Performance Compound. During his internships, Dan was mentored by some of the best performance coaches and had the opportunity to work with professional athletes from the NHL, NFL, and MLB. Dan developed his coaching skills at IMG Academy working with high school tennis, baseball, and golf athletes. After his internship at the Performance Compound, Dan was hired on as a Performance Coach and ultimately became the Facility Director. Dan brought his expertise, passion for helping people, and enthusiastic approach to TrYumph in 2015 joining our team as personal trainer, youth performance coach, and group training coach.
“The challenge I like the most is the client that makes me work. I like to fix problems, so doing things along the lines of rehabilitation with mobility and flexibility are the most fun to me. I enjoy doing the research necessary to find the solution that hopefully helps the client not need things like surgery.” – Coach Dan
Dan earned his degree in Exercise Science from Barry University and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, among the other prestigious certifications he has attained. His specialties include prehab, functional fitness, strength and conditioning for athletes of all ages (no matter the sport). Dan is married to his wife Stephanie and has twin children Parker and Sierra.
